Wholesale Tulle Buying Guide: Rolls, Width, Weight, Colour Card and Pricing

For bridal shops, fashion houses and fabric wholesalers, sourcing tulle starts with asking the right questions. This guide summarises the key topics to consider when buying wholesale tulle, from a manufacturer’s perspective.

Roll-Based Sales

Wholesale tulle is sold by the roll. A roll is usually 50 metres (20 metres for some products). When planning an order, evaluating rolls per product together with total metres gives an advantage in both logistics and price.

Width and Weight

Standard production width is 300 cm; products like lace are made at 150 cm. Wide width enables waste-free cutting and fewer seams on large skirts and panelled designs. Weight determines the tulle’s handle and drape and should be confirmed on a sample.

Colour Card & Custom Colour

The standard 60-colour card is always in stock, enabling same-day dispatch. If you need a colour outside the card, custom colours are produced on orders of 3,000 metres and above and delivered within the agreed lead time. Approving a colour sample prevents batch variation in series production.

Pricing and Discounts

Prices are quoted in USD/metre, excluding VAT. A discounted unit price applies automatically on lines of 10 rolls (500 metres) or more. For orders over 500 metres, contact the sales team for special pricing.

Sample & Order Process

The process usually runs: request sample card → confirm handle and colour → proforma and order confirmation → production/dispatch. The cart and quote form on the website send your request to our sales team via WhatsApp or e-mail; payment and shipping terms are finalised in the order confirmation.
